Join the Clarion Conservation District, Pennsylvania Fish & Boat Commission, and partners for a two part class learning hands-on fishing skills! Our goal is to make fishing more accessible and help new and returning anglers alike get into fishing our beautiful PA streams and lakes!
Topics Covered: Traditional & Fly Fishing, PA Fishes & Habitat, Stream Restoration, Fishing Gear, Why/How Lakes, Rivers, and Streams are Managed, and more!
Details:
Sept. 12th – Classroom Session – 5:30 pm-8 pm at Sligo Area Recreation Center (448 Colerain St, Sligo, PA)
Sept. 14th – Field Day Session – 8 am-12:45 pm or later at McCanna Run (Strattanville, PA) – Lunch and fishing gear provided.
Adults & children ages 12 & up may attend. No experience needed. Must attend both sessions. FREE TRANSPORTATION available! FREE FISHING GEAR RAFFLE!
