Did you ever want to just explore (play and have fun) with an art media like Chalk Pastels?

When: August 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the pavilion in the Knox Community Park is all about.

It will include; a brief history of the materials, rules of composition, color-blending, and a variety of techniques. Various papers, size 5″ x 7″ and 8″ x 10″ will be used.

In addition to your artwork, each participant will take home a 24-color set of chalk pastels, kneaded eraser, and blending tortillon.

This class is a fundraiser for the Knox Civic Club which owns and maintains the park. The cost is $40. It includes all your materials and snacks!

The class is limited to 24 and is open to as young as 10 years old so that you can enjoy the class with a child or grandchild.
