DESCRIPTION:Join us on Saturday\, April 6 at 11:00 a.m. for “Cooking with Herbs and Edible Flowers.” Space is limited so PLEASE REGISTER early by calling 814-797-1054 or emailing knoxpubliclibrary@gmail.com.  \nSusie Blair\, president of Franklin Gardeners\, and Judy Gerzina\, Secretary of Oil City Garden Club\, will discuss general use of herbs in cooking\, herbal rubs and salts\, herbal oils and vinegars\, herbal butter and cream cheese\, general use of edible flowers\, floral jellies\, use of herbs in salads\, decorating baked goods with edible flowers\, and various methods of drying herbs and flowers.  \nAttendees will receive recipes\, herb/flower seed packets\, and peat starter pots.  \nWe will also have appetizers to taste some of the products demonstrated. \n
